What is walk-and-talk Therapy?
What is walk-and-talk therapy?
Walk-and-talk is a form of therapy where the body is given space. Movement calms and washes away stress. In this way, other thoughts and feelings become clearer. It becomes easier to have a conversation about your experiences and your life. In short, we walk and talk.
Who is Walk-and-talk aimed at?
Who is walk-and-talk aimed at?
Walk-and-talk therapy is for when you feel stuck. You are likely experiencing some combination of stress, anxiety, sedentary habits, rumination, procrastination, excessive scrolling, loneliness, sleep problems, irregular eating habits, physical pain or depression. You may have tried therapy before but found the confined 45-minute therapy room limiting.
Who is your therapist?
My name is Daniel Werner, and I am in my final semester of the psychology program in Lund. I am trained in the basics of both psychodynamic therapy (PDT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I use movement myself as a tool to balance my mental health. My hope is to share what my education and movement has given me.
